Cutbacks On The Way

Williams County Commissioners approve a countywide reduction of expected revenues and have instructed departments to seek 20 percent cuts…coronavirus. The move reflects an anticipated $1,372,500 shortfall in revenue for the county through the end of the year, based off information from the state. Minimum hours required by the county for its employees were reduced from 35 to 25 hours per week. The cutbacks go into effect on May 9.
