DeKalb County deputies are investigating a crash on County Road 14. A man and child are hurt in the wreck. Officials say Nicholas Martz was eastbound on 14…then, his Jeep leaves the roadway…up a ditch bank, hitting a tree. The SUV flips, upside down. The eight year old boy inside suffers minor injuries. Martz was flown to an area hospital with head and chest injuries. Investigators suspect alcohol is a factor in the crash. State and local officials are looking into it.
