Barn Fire In DC

Firefighters in Defiance County respond to a barn fire on Schubert Road. The blaze is well involved with the team arrives. A dry hydrant was used to fill tankers that filled portable tanks at the scene. About 25,000 gallons of water and 35-40 firefighters teamed up to fight the fire. Mutual aid was provided by the Defiance City and Noble Township Fire. In about a half an hour…the flames are extinguished. No one is hurt. The livestock is okay, too. State and local investigators are going over the scene…looking for the cause.
