Skinny Little Buddy’s Owner faces 20 Counts of Animal Cruelty

The owner of an Edon animal shelter will be in court Friday morning to face 20 counts of cruelty to animals.

According to the Bryan Times, charges that were filed against 57 year old Vicki Cornell and her business, Skinny Little Buddy’s, came about following an incident last August when more than 50 animals, mostly dogs and a few cats, were seized after they were found in poor living conditions.

Ownership of those animals was legally signed over to the Williams County Humane Society which has since found homes for most of them.

Cornell now faces 20 counts of second-degree misdemeanor animal cruelty.
