The unemployment rate in Fulton County was up slightly in June, but still down from last year, that’s according to data released by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The county’s jobless rate in June was 3.8%, according to the civilian labor force estimates. That is up from 3.3% in May, but lower than last June when it was 5.6%. The estimates show 800 people were unemployed in the county last month. Also in the area, Williams and Wood counties had rates of 3.7%, Henry County was at 4.1%, Defiance County at 4.2%, and Lucas County at 4.6%.
