Leslie Lee Leininger, age 76, of Wauseon, passed away on September 2, 2022 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Leslie worked at Multicast Foundry for many years.
Leslie was born on July 1, 1946 in Wauseon to the late Galen and Alta (Burkholder) Leininger. He later graduated from Pettisville High School. The most important thing in Leslie’s life was his family; they always came first. Leslie also was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and Cleveland Browns fan.
Leslie is survived by his daughter, Trudi (Jeff) Fahrer of Delta; son, Tim (Mona) Leininger of Wauseon; daughter, Tonya (Brock) Figgins of Wauseon; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, with one on the way. He is also survived by brothers Allen (Nancy) Leininger, Randy (Pam) Leininger, and Jeff Leininger; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Michael Leininger and Robert Leininger.
Visitation for Leslie will take place on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon from 10am to 1pm. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1pm, with Pastor Matt Strader officiating. Burial will follow at the Pettisville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the benevolence of the family. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com.
