Dawson Moore, an 11th grader at Bryan High School who is served by the William County Board of Developmental Disabilities, is turning challenges into success. Dawson and several others served by the board…shared their challenges and their successes at a roundtable discussion during a visit by Kim Hauck, director of the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. Dawson competed in the Special Olympics USA Games this past June in Orlando, Florida, and finished third in both the 800 and 1,500 yard runs, and fifth in the mini javelin throw.
