Richard Fackler Jr., 84, of Camden, Michigan passed away Friday, September 30, 2022 at Evergreen Healthcare in Montpelier. He was born on December 5, 1937 in Amboy Township, Michigan to Lavohn Richard and Goldie May (Traxler) Sr. Richard graduated from Pioneer High School in 1955. On October 24, 1958 in Pioneer, he married Norma J. Rummel and she survives.
Richard attended the Pioneer Nazarene Church. He worked at International Harvester in Fort Wayne, Indiana in the early 1960’s for several years. He started his career in Williams County at Chase Brass & Copper in Holiday City as the original press operator. Richard owned and operated Tri-State Realty in Hillsdale, Michigan as a realtor and broker for 20 years. He retired as a senior landman for various brokers in the Oil Business.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Norma; children Robin Fackler of San Antonio, Texas, Jacqueline (Ken) Evilsizor of San Diego, California, Dawn (Jose) Caussade of San Antonio, Texas and Joshua (Renee) Fackler of Camden, Michigan; grandchildren Renee, Tarek, Stephen, Anessa, Nathan, Luke, Kelsey, Trevor, Hunter, Alicia and Jacob; seven great grandchildren; and siblings Bobbie (Al) Clark of Pioneer, Beth (Jerry) Emens of Camden, Michigan and Neil Fackler of Kokomo, Indiana. Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 4th from 6-8pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer, Ohio. Services will be on Wednesday at 11am at the Pioneer Nazarene Church with Pastor Gene McBride to officiate, visitation will be from 10-11am, prior to the service. Interment will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.
