Crews at the Bryan Water Treatment Plant worked to fix one valve and remove another that prevented water from filling the system’s towers. Water department employees were notified of a problem Tuesday afternoon, but their inability to locate and fix the exact problem resulted in Bryan Municipal Utilities issuing a statement on Facebook…requesting users stop using water. To accommodate citizens, the Bryan Fire Department handed out bottled water for a time. Officials stress…the water was never contaminated.
