Robert K. Cassidy, 64

Robert K. Cassidy, age 64, a longtime resident of Bryan and most recently of Fortville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at his home. Robert retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer with 26 years of service. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on cars, was an avid baseball fan, but above all, enjoyed spending time with his family.

Robert was born on October 29, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Robert L. and Anna L. (Westbrook) Cassidy.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Zach) Kazimier, of Fortville, Indiana; son, Nino (Diana) Cassidy, of Hawaii; stepdaughters, Heather Hogan and Amber Shook, both of Bryan; grandchildren, Chloe, Avery and Caleb; sisters, Charlene Cassidy, of Asheville, North Carolina and Roberta (William) Dumong, of Chicago; brothers, Dan Cassidy, of Ashland, Oregon and Paul (Stephanie) Cassidy, of Morgan Field, Kentucky and nieces and nephews, Michael and Emily Pierson, Aiden and Eva Cassidy, Laura Werner, Hunter and Connor Hogan and Caleb and Aria Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 610 South Portland Street, Bryan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Andrew Wellman officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan with graveside military rites provided by the Bryan American Legion/VFW Honor Detail and the US Navy Honor Guard. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan has been entrusted with his arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
