Fatal Accident In WC

A three-vehicle accident ends in death. Tony Sandhal was one of the drivers of three tractor-trailers involved in the crash. He died at the scene…along U.S. 6 and County Road 8 in Williams County. The preliminary investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol shows a tractor-trailer operated by Timothy Morgan, 42, Walbridge, was eastbound on U.S. 6. They say he drove left of center, sideswiping a semi, operated by Luis Lerida, of Mexico. Morgan’s vehicle then hit Sandhal’s tractor-trailer, head-on. The accident remains under investigation by both state and local officials.
