Sharon M. Linebrink, 70, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Sharon was born August 12, 1952, in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Marie (Hollis) Sharp. She was a graduate of Tinora High School. Sharon was a loving mother and homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed working in her yard, spending time with family and tending to her beautiful sunflowers.
Surviving is her longtime partner Dennis Ordway, two children; Matthew Linebrink (Todd Chapman) of Lexington, Kentucky, and Amy (Charles) Snow of Ney, Ohio; grandsons, Joshua Volkert and Ethan Philpot and granddaughter Kalli Volkert; stepchildren, Connie (Paul) Dawson, Danny Ordway; brothers, Bill (Cindy) Sharp, Ronnie (Barb) Sharp, Robert Sharp, Jack Sharp, Dan (Tabitha) Sharp; and sisters, Judy (Eddie) Wisda, Edith Lane, Virginia Green, Betty (Roger) Greere, Marlyan Richards. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond Sharp, James Sharp; and sisters, Suzanne Caranhan, Sally Sharp, and Linda Sharp.
We are honoring Sharon’s wishes by not having a service, and remembering the joy spent with her in the good days. Arrangements are in the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio.
