Defiance man is arrested for a second time this month, following a digging incident at Riverside Cemetery.

A Defiance man is arrested for a second time this month, following a digging incident at Riverside Cemetery. Derrick Flores is now charged with vandalism…after officers are called in to investigate. They say a man was digging up a grave with a shove and was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. Flores had an initial appearance in Defiance Municipal Court where bond was set at $2,500 dollars with a 10% allowance provision. He waived his right to a preliminary on the charge in municipal court and was bound over to Defiance County Common Pleas Court for further proceedings. Officials confirm he also had been arrested on a probation violation on Oct. 3 at the cemetery…following a similar incident.
