Stryker village expects to finish 2023 almost $200,000 dollars in the black, officials say. As of Dec. 11, village revenues total $1.3 million dollars, with expenses at $1.1 million, or about $195,000 in the positive. The village is still on the hook for expenses of about $98,500 from the ongoing Johnson Avenue project, but they say anticipated additional revenues from now until Jan. 1, along with carryover monies, will easily cover the anticipated end-of-year total budget expenditures of $1.4 million. Council also unanimously approved a 2024 budget of $1.4 million dollars and an ordinance, setting the 2024 village employee salaries and benefits.
