Ronnie Niccum, 69

Ronnie D. Niccum, age 69, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away at 12:32 A.M. on Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice, Defiance, Ohio. Mr. Niccum was a machinist at Defiance Precision Products, retiring with 33 years of service. Ronnie was a member of the United Auto Workers, the Defiance Sons of the AmVets, and Defiance Eagles Aerie #372 and was a former member of Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233.

Ronnie D. Niccum was born on June 2, 1944, in Wabash, Indiana, the son of Ernest A. and Phyllis J. (Huston) Niccum. He married Charlene L. Lundeen on November 22, 1963, in Wabash, Indiana, and she survives. Ronnie is survived by his daughters, Tessa Strebler, of Sylvania, Ohio, and Rhonda Crist, of Defiance; his son, William (Susan) Niccum, of Kearneysville, West Virginia; five grandchildren, Sasha Crist, Austin (Raina) Crist, Logan Strebler, Logan Niccum and Ashley Niccum; two great-grandchildren, Raymond Aschbacher and Kelton Crist; a sister, Marsha Miller, of Marion, Indiana, and a brother, Tony Niccum, of North Manchester, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents.

According to his wishes, there will be no visitation or services held. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, has been entrusted with his arrangements.
