One person is dead after incident at a home in Grabill.

One person is dead after officers detain a person of interest at a home in Grabill. Deputies are called to a Lagoon Drive residence on a report of a possible stabbing. The responders get there and soon find one adult unconscious inside the place. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials confirm, Charles Calvert, 60, was taken into custody on a preliminary charge of murder, and is currently being held at the Allen County Jail. The county Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased individual, as well as the cause and manner of death. The investigation continues by both state and local officials.
