A home in Liberty Center was heavily damaged by fire Tuesday afternoon. Liberty Center-Washington Township firefighters were called to the residence at T-792 Henry County Road 4, south of Road U, at 3:09 p.m. Tuesday. The property is located about three miles northeast of Liberty Center. According to radio scanner traffic, the call came in as a basement fire. However, the fire appeared to have damaged other areas of the home.
