Man arrested in Henry County Friday after hitting two officers and marked car.

A man was arrested in Henry County Friday after hitting two officers and a marked car with a K9 in it, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. Officials say when they arrived at the scene they determined that Mark Szabo, 44, had crashed into the front of a residence multiple times, as well as hitting things on their property like a propane tank and parked vehicle before fleeing the scene. Officers say that Szabo arrived back to the scene, and hit a marked vehicle with a K9 in it, which in turn struck an officer standing next to it before again fleeing the scene. A second deputy went to find Szabo and located his vehicle, Szabo then drove directly into that deputy’s vehicle hitting him head-on, officials say.
