Virginia M. Raabe, 84, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Bryan Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Bryan, Ohio.  Virginia was born April 4, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio, daughter of the late Alton and Marynette (Meyers) Tripp.  She was a 1958 graduate of Whitmer High School.  Virginia married Donald E. Raabe on January 30, 1958, in Toledo, and he preceded her in death on November 16, 2012.  She worked as a lab supervisor at the Medical College of Ohio for over 20 years, retiring in 1983.  In her free time, she enjoyed flower gardening, making craft wreaths, and spending time with her family – especially with her many grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, Mike Raabe and Donna Raabe both of Pioneer, Ohio; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; son, Dave Raabe; two grandchildren, Randy Raabe, and Angela Raabe; two sisters, Barbara Netherda and Francis Mallory; brother, Tom Tripp.

Visitation for Virginia will be held Friday, June 21, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506.  A memorial service celebrating Virginia’s life will immediately follow in the funeral home beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Lowell Fast officiating.
