Serious injury crash Saturday in Williams County.

The Defiance Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a serious injury crash that occurred on Saturday, October 5, at approximately 5:12 P.M. The
crash occurred on US 127 at the intersection of County Road I.50 in Jefferson Township,
Williams County.
A vehicle drive by 46 year old Sommer Wolford, of Convoy, Ohio was southbound on US 127 with a passenger, 53 year old Tracey Wolford, also of Convoy, Ohio.
18 year old Jacee Altaffer, of Montpelier, was driving a vehicle eastbound on County Road I.50. The Altaffer vehicle failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection and was struck by the Wolford vehicle. Both vehicles traveled off the eastside of US 127.
Mrs. Wolford and Mr. Wolford were transported by Williams County EMS to Bryan
Hospital. Mr. Wolford was later transported via Life Flight to ProMedica Toledo Hospital
with serious injuries.
Altaffer was transported by Williams County EMS to Bryan Hospital. She was later transported via Life Flight to Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
