Toledo man sentenced after convicted of keeping children in “atrocious and inhumane living conditions”.

A Toledo man was sentenced to prison Tuesday after being convicted of keeping his children in “atrocious and inhumane living conditions” at a west Toledo apartment. Jason Baran, 42, was sentenced to 180 days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio for each count of endangering children for a total of 18 months in prison. Baran pleaded no contest to the three counts of endangering children in Toledo Municipal Court on Oct. 7.
