Five people injured following accident Tuesday in Henry County.

Five people were injured, four of them seriously, following a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on U.S. 24. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, which handled the investigation, the crash occurred around 7:29 a.m. Tuesday, west of milepost 52 in Washington Township, in eastern Henry County. The crash report noted that an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by George Stone, 27, Woodburn, Ind., slid out of control on ice-covered pavement, went into a ditch and rolled several times.
