Roughly 100 cancer patients and advocates from across the Buckeye State will gather at the Statehouse for Cancer Action Day today (Tuesday). They will urge lawmakers to support the Governor’s proposed tobacco tax increases and budget funding for programs that prevent and reduce tobacco use and improve access to breast and cervical cancer screenings. They will also ask lawmakers to improve access to cancer care by supporting biomarker and prostate cancer legislation.
