A Montpelier woman who had been charged with attempted murder in Williams County Common Pleas Court has been sentenced on three lesser charges. 38 year old Hayley Diffenbaugh was placed on community control for four years on charges of pleading guilty to strangulation, domestic violence, and resisting arrest. Diffenbaugh also was given 180 days in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio with 90 days suspended and credit for three days served while her case was pending, and fined $1,000.
