Paulding County voters to decide on replacement levy for jail operations.

Paulding County voters will be asked to approve a replacement levy for county jail operations this fall. The 1.35-mill, five-year levy was filed before Wednesday’s filing deadline for the Nov. 4 general election passed. The levy has been in place for nearly a decade, but a replacement component has been added to allow collections on upgraded property evaluations, thus bringing in added revenue.
