Lawsuit between city of Bryan and nearby church dismissed.

A lawsuit between the city of Bryan and a nearby church was dismissed with prejudice by a judge in Williams County Common Pleas Court. The city claimed that Dad’s Place Church lacked an occupancy permit and that its lack of a sprinkler system posed a fire safety risk. Just eight days after both sides were supposed to submit their briefs, Williams County Common Pleas Court visiting judge James D. Bates dismissed the case on Thursday.
