New Senior Center in Hicksville put on hold.

Defiance County commissioners have placed on hold the construction of a new senior center in Hicksville. Commissioners discussed an idea for the property that was deeded to the county recently by Vancrest, which built a new facility on the east end of Hicksville, during their recent regular meeting which was held in the Hicksville Village Council Chambers. A demolition contractor still is scheduled to begin taking the building down soon.
