Two Killed in Crash on Interstate 75 Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday, October 4th, at approximately 12:27 P.M., the Lima Post of The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 75, near Breese Rd in Shawnee Township, Allen County.
29 year old Travontay Hooks-Sanders, from Greer, South Carolina, was operating a 2016 Jeep Renegade northbound on I-75. Keith Hughes was in a disabled 2022 Freightliner Cascadia semi on the right berm of I-75. The Jeep Renegade drove on to the berm and struck the rear of the disabled semi.
29 year old Derek Robinson, from Southfield, Michigan was a passenger in the Jeep Renegade. Hooks-Sanders and Robinson both suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene. Hughes was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
