The Supreme Court of Ohio has released results from the July 2025 Ohio bar examination. Some 967 aspiring attorneys took the exam, and 693 – or 72% – passed. July applicants represented 62 of Ohio’s 88 counties and an additional 22 states. Those who meet all requirements will be sworn in as attorneys during two special sessions of the Supreme Court on Nov. 17. Sorted by law schools, newly admitted attorneys will take their oaths at either 10:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. at the Palace Theatre in Columbus. Following the ceremony, the new attorneys and their guests are invited to the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center. The Ohio State Bar Association will host a reception in the Grand Concourse, including food, complimentary headshots and photos inside the courtroom in front of the bench.
