The Bryan Board of Public Affairs approved seeking bids for a new bucket truck this week. Bryan Municipal Utilities Director of Utilities Derek Schultz said the new truck is needed to replace one that is a 2001 model. The new truck would have a 100-foot working height with the bucket lift and would primarily be used for overhead transmission lines and transmission level poles. $575,000 has been budgeted for the purchase for next year.
