Paulding Road Work Set To Kick Off

Drivers in Paulding County will soon see road crews out there, who will be doing measuring and making plans for the 16 miles of resurfacing work that will get underway later this year.

It’s going to be a pricey job, with an estimated price tag of $1.1 million. The county received a $325,000 grant through the Ohio Public Works Commission to help cover costs.

Before any repaving gets done, workers first have to replace a number of bad culverts.

Areas to be done include sections of: State Line Road and Paulding County roads 60 (near Wayne Trace High School), 115, 138, 171 and 204.

Highway officials say there will be no bridge projects this year.
