A small-town cheerleading team from northwest Ohio has taken the global stage by storm, as Liberty Center High School captured first place at the 2026 International Cheer Competition in Orlando, Florida, besting about 40 teams from around the world. The championship caps months of intense preparation, long practices and community support for the squad, whose victory has sparked pride throughout Liberty Center.
