According to American Municipal Power, Montpelier Municipal Utilities recently won multiple accolades. During the American Public Power Association’s annual Engineering & Operations Conference, which was held in Huntsville, Alabama, the utility was awarded a Diamond level Excellence in Safety Award, a Diamond level designation as a Reliable Public Power Provider, and a Certificate of Excellence in Reliability. Montpelier Municipal Utilities received the Diamond level Safety Award in Group A (based on exposure of less than 15,000 worker-hours) for its safety standards.
