Cable Agreement

Bryan Municipal Utilities has announced that Viacom and the National Cable Television Cooperative have come to terms in an agreement which will keep Nickelodeon, MTV, Spike and other networks on the air locally.

The two companies signed a contract Wednesday, which assures that programming on all the Viacom networks will continue as scheduled. No word yet on whether or not that agreement will affect your cable bill though.

Viacom originally wanted to increase its network fees by 45 percent.
