Sales Tax holiday returns in August.

The annual Sales Tax holiday in Ohio is back.
This year’s sales tax holiday will take place from 12 a.m. on August 7th to 11:59 p.m. on August 9th, and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is urging the state’s citizens to take advantage of it.  According to DeWine, “Ohio’s Sales Tax Holiday occurs at a time of year when families are getting ready for back-to-school.” During the three-day holiday, the following products are exempt from sales tax: apparel that costs no more than $75 each item, school supplies that cost no more than $20 each, and educational resources for schools that cost no more than $20.
