A building permit that would allow an Aldi grocery to open in Bryan was approved by the city council on Monday night.  The address of the permission application is 1126 S. Main St. and comprises 23,881 square feet and an estimated $1.8 million in building restoration costs.  Workers have been inside the building for a number of months.
