Bryan man sentenced to prison recently in Defiance County Common Pleas Court.

A rural Bryan man was sentenced to prison recently in Defiance County Common Pleas Court for leading police on a two-county automobile pursuit in March.  Judge Joseph Schmenk sentenced 23-year-old Gage Gibert to 30 months in jail for his third-degree crime of disobeying a police officer’s instruction or signal. In addition, he received a consecutive 28-month sentence for violating community control from two prior convictions in common pleas court, for a total of 58 months in prison.
