Williams County Commissioners were updated on road projects at their recent meeting. The loan bid for this year’s asphalt paving throughout the county was launched by the Williams County Engineer’s Office. The engineer’s estimate was $1.18 million, but that bid was $1.03 million. At a later meeting, staff will evaluate the bid and offer a recommendation.
Pat McColley, Deputy Director of the Ohio Department of Transportation District 2, and other ODOT representatives met with the commissioners to provide an update. By Friday, a bridge replacement project on Ohio 34 that was started a few months ago should be finished.
