Municipalities with a marijuana shop within their borders have received the revenue from the Ohio Department of Taxation, which was released in April.  Only the village of Sherwood in the Williams County region collected any taxes on the sale of marijuana-related goods. It collected $3,451.65 in April, the most this year. It received $3,233.35 in January, $3,390.34 in February, and $3,217.46 in March. Through the tax, slightly over $12 million has been disbursed around the state.
