The next NAMI Four County meeting will be held at the Defiance office of Maumee Valley Guidance Center at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 6.
CEO Connie Planson of Maumee Valley Guidance Center, and Rhonda Muehlfeld, center director of Health Partners of Western Ohio, will provide a one year update on the partnership between the two agencies, explaining the number of behavioral clients and community members who have become patients of the primary healthcare practices that are based in the Defiance Maumee Valley Guidance Center office and the Bryan office of Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio.
NAMI Four County is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest organization of family members and friends of persons living with a mental illness, as well as those who have a mental illness. The group meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.
