6-Years For Burglary

A Hicksville man was sen­tenced Mon­day in Steuben Supe­rior Court to 6 years in prison after he entered a guilty plea to a bur­glary charge.

23-year-old Jason Steck­ley was also placed on pro­ba­tion for two years, after hav­ing two years of his sen­tence sus­pended.

Steck­ley will also have to pay over $6,300 in resti­tu­tion in con­nec­tion with the break ins of a home about a year ago, in which items taken included coins, jew­elry, video games and DVD’s.
