The Paulding County Fair begins today with Cancer Awareness Day, and runs through Saturday. Admission is free.
Tonight at 6:30, the junior fair parade gets underway, with line-up at 6 p.m. Immediately following the parade is the junior fair coronation ceremony at the grandstand.
The Thunder of the Night band show will then be held at 8 p.m. at the grandstand.
Tuesday is senior day at the fairground. All seniors age 60 and older are welcome to complimentary refreshments starting at 8 a.m..
A complimentary lunch — sandwich, salad, fruit, cookie and drink — will be provided by the Paulding County Senior Center at 11:30 a.m. There will then be stage entertainment from noon-2 p.m.
Wednesday at the fair is 4-H alumni reunion day.
Veterans’ Day will be Thursday.
FFA alumni and safety day is Friday at the fairgrounds.
The fair winds down for the year on Saturday with Flag Day and scouts day, and a demolition derby at 7 p.m.
