Bryan Man Cops Plea In Steuben Court

A Bryan man who was one of four persons arrested on methamphetamine related charges in drug bust back in April at a home near Hamilton entered into a plea agreement on Monday in Steuben Superior Court.

34-year-old Joseph Cotrell pled guilty to a felony charge of aiding in the manufacture of meth. Three other charges will be dismissed if the plea agreement is accepted during a sentencing hearing set for August 11th.

The plea agreement calls for a sentencing cap of 30 years with the court to determine the length of the sentence. Cotrell was scheduled to go on trial on July 24th.
