Henry Commissioners Agree To Levy Request

The Henry County Commissioners this week, approved a resolution to place a levy on the ballot to provide financial support for Countryview Haven.

It’s a 1.6 mill levy, covering the next three years, which they say will provide funding for maintaining and operating the county home in Henry County.

Also at this week’s meeting, Henry County Commissioners got an update from the state auditor’s office on a ‘share-Ohio’ program, which provides a one-stop shop to help communities share resources and save tax dollars.

One example of how the program works is equipment used by the highway department also being used for more than just one county, rather than every county purchasing the same equipment.
