Police Seeking Hit And Run Perpetrator

In Mont­pe­lier, police say they are try­ing to locate the dri­ver of a vehi­cle that ran into and injured a man Sat­ur­day morn­ing.

The Ohio State High­way Patrol says 50 year old Troy Pres­nell was rid­ing a bicy­cle east on Ohio 107 very early in the morn­ing, when some­body hit him from behind near Ohio 15. The dri­ver of the vehi­cle that hit Pres­nell, then took off with­out stop­ping.

Pres­nell was taken to Com­mu­nity Hos­pi­tals and Well­ness Centers-Montpelier, then flown to Parkview Hos­pi­tal in Fort Wayne.
