Paulding Court Action

In Pauld­ing County Court, an Oak­wood woman was sen­tenced for OVI. Rose­mary Hall was slapped with a $525 fine and 20 days in jail for the offense. Hall may attend DIP pro­gram in lieu of three jail days. In addi­tion, com­mu­nity con­trol was also ordered, along with 30 hours of com­mu­nity ser­vice, and 160 jail days reserved.

George Welch, of Pal­metto, Florida, was sen­tenced for phys­i­cal con­trol. The judge handed Welch a $375 fine and three days in jail, how­ever, he may attend DIP pro­gram in lieu of jail, with 87 jail days reserved if he doesn’t fol­low orders. He was also fined $30 for a safety belt vio­la­tion. A charge of OVI was dismissed.
