In Paulding County Court, an Oakwood woman was sentenced for OVI. Rosemary Hall was slapped with a $525 fine and 20 days in jail for the offense. Hall may attend DIP program in lieu of three jail days. In addition, community control was also ordered, along with 30 hours of community service, and 160 jail days reserved.
George Welch, of Palmetto, Florida, was sentenced for physical control. The judge handed Welch a $375 fine and three days in jail, however, he may attend DIP program in lieu of jail, with 87 jail days reserved if he doesn’t follow orders. He was also fined $30 for a safety belt violation. A charge of OVI was dismissed.
