Gas Leak In Angola Closes Library

A natural gas leak in Angola, caused the shut down Thursday of the Carnegie Public Library.

Angola officials say they believe the leak began sometime overnight on Wednesday. When library employees arrived for work yesterday morning, they reported the smell of gas in the building, so the decision was made to close for the day.

Crews were called in to fix the leak and vent the gas from the building. The library is expected to be open again as usual today.
