Icy Roads Cause Headaches For Drivers

The slip­pery north­side hill in Defi­ance cre­ated prob­lems for dri­vers and was behind sev­eral crashes Tues­day. In fact, four crashes occurred at North Clin­ton and High streets between 6:30 and 8 a.m. alone onTues­day morn­ing.

There was no report of any­one being seri­ously hurt in those crashes yes­ter­day morn­ing, but they did tie up traf­fic and even resulted in sev­eral streets being shut down for a time.
