D. Wilbur Miller, age 68, of rural Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:50 P.M. on Friday, February 13, 2015, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance, Ohio, where he was a patient, after an extended illness. Mr. Miller was an independent truck driver, operating D.W. Miller Trucking for more than forty years.
D. Wilbur Miller was born on July 8, 1946, in Montpelier, Ohio, the son of William K. and Myrtle E. (Daring) Miller. He married Lucy M. Miller on July 21, 1964, in Wise, Virginia, and she preceded him in death on May 12, 1992.
Survivors include one son, D. Allen (Tina) Miller, and one daughter, Cindy Lee Miller, both of Edgerton, Ohio; two granddaughters, Molly and Emily Miller; one brother, Kenneth (Martha) Miller, of Montpelier; two sisters, Yvonne (Kenneth) Beck, of Montpelier, and Sis Brown, of Bryan. He was also preceded in death by one son, Lee Miller, in 1982, one sister, Evelyn Bish, and four brothers, Doyle, Wayne, Dwight and Elmer Miller.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton. Services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton with Tim Ordway officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton.
