The American Red Cross will hold several blood drives in two counties. A blood drive will be held on Monday, June 29, from 2:30–6:30 p.m. at the Family Christian Center in Defiance. In Paulding County, a blood drive will also be held on June 29, from 2–7 p.m. at the Paulding Church of the Nazarene in Paulding. Another blood drive will be held on Tuesday, June 30, from noon — 6 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Payne. Blood donations are usually in short supply in the summer. Donors with types O negative, A negative and B negative are especially needed. To schedule an appointment, call 800-RED-CROSS.
